Caliraya, Laguna – August 2, 2025 – The serene waters of Caliraya Lake turned into a battleground as over 350 airsoft enthusiasts gathered for one of the year’s most anticipated events, Operation: Poseidon.
Held on August 2, this large-scale milsim event drew players from across the Philippines, as well as international participants from Taiwan and Germany, making it a truly global affair. Hosted in the scenic terrain of Laguna, the event stood out for its immersive gameplay elements, including boat insertions and the liberal use of pyrotechnics, pushing the boundaries of realism and excitement in airsoft.
The 10-hour, non-stop action pitted Team Solid against Team Camo in a grueling but exhilarating skirmish. What set Operation Poseidon apart was not only its scale but also the emphasis on clean and honest gameplay, a principle upheld and respected by all participants. Despite the high-intensity environment, the sportsmanship on display was second to none, showcasing the tight-knit and disciplined nature of the airsoft community.
After the smoke cleared and the final shots were fired, the camaraderie continued at the fellowship night, where players shared stories over free food and drinks, creating bonds that transcended team lines and nationalities.
The night also featured prizes and giveaways courtesy of the event’s major sponsors, 6MM Philippines including Poseidon, Nexxus and several of the Philippines' top airsoft retailers.
